The Chinese government has created a new social engineering scheme called “Sesame Credit” which looks and acts like a game, but it’s true purpose is to garner obedience to the state.
The system rates Chinese citizens on how closely they adhere to the party line. It pulls data from the internet: social media, online purchases and search histories.
