The system rates Chinese citizens on how closely they adhere to the party line. It pulls data from the internet: social media, online purchases and search histories. In this video Dan Dicks of Press For Truth shows how a voluntary “social credit” system for the West isn’t too far-fetched and with corporate-state media approval, it could be sold to the public fairly easily.
