In the United Kingdom you can now be arrested, not for tweeting, but for re-tweeting a harsh opinion if it deemed that the words you shared are “likely” to potentially add to racial tensions even if your intensions are good!
It’s important to note that “likely to” is pre-crime talk, something that may or may not happen in the future!
Bill C-63 is similarly all about censorship but it is disguised as a Bill to protect children from online harms.
