On May 1st 2015 Dan Dicks of Press For Truth went to the annual International May Day rally in Vancouver with the intention of interviewing protesters about their anti capitalist views…the original intent by the organizers was to protest against gentrification, capitalism, and pipelines however the evening quickly developed into more of a dance party than a protest as police moved in and eventually shut the party down. One person was stabbed and three people were arrested on Vancouver’s Commercial Drive last night, after 5,000 people showed up for the May Day party.
