A private gym in Windsor, Ontario enforces a common-sense “no weapons” policy.
When a Sikh man shows up wearing his kirpan (ceremonial dagger), staff politely ask him to leave.
Instead of respecting the rules, he films the confrontation, screams “racial profiling,” and posts unhinged follow-up videos playing the victim.
This isn’t bigotry, it’s a business protecting its customers.
But in 2026 Canada, it’s another glaring example of two-tier justice: cracking down on Christians quoting the Bible under the new “Combatting Hate Act” (Bill C-9) while giving religious exemptions for actual blades.
Private property rights, public safety, and equal rules for everyone, or do we keep bending the law for “protected classes”?
Should gyms have to allow weapons, or does “no weapons” actually mean NO WEAPONS?
