Today on Press For Truth TV we are joined by Jakub Markiewicz, a young aspiring journalist who was arrested by the RCMP for taking their photo and for photographing mall security guards during an arrest. This rude awakening to the Canadian police state has not detoured Jakub from wanting to document news worthy events. A flash mob is being organized in Vancouver as an act of civil disobedience which is aimed at letting the authorities know that when you pick on the free press, you can expect a response.

Bill C-309 has passed the house and is on it’s way to the Senate to be made into law. Under this bill police would have the ability to arrest anyone who chooses to remain anonymous while attending an “unlawful assembly”. The criminalization of dissent is underway but this will not deter the Canadian people from having our voices heard.

Today we are joined on the line by Derrick Broze who is an activist, radio show host and founder of the Houston Free Thinkers to talk about his experience in dealing with airport police and authority figures in general. Derrick and Adam Kokesh were at the Reagan Airport to take part in the “opt out and film the TSA” campaign. The police were relentless with their intimidation tactics as they attempted to detain and arrest Derrick but ultimately failed because like true champions of the freedom and liberty movements Derrick and Adam stood their grounds, asserted their rights and eventually walked out the door without incident.
