“There’s nothing in the federal Liberal budget about cannabis legalization, which is a little surprising since Trudeau campaigned on legalization and the whole world knows it. Legal weed is supposed to be a cash-cow for governments, the mantra has always been “legalize, tax and regulate it.” Of course this isn’t surprising for any of us who have been paying attention. Justin Trudeau appointed former Toronto police chief Bill Blair to head legalization, signifying that cannabis legalization in Canada would be decided by the same people who had enforced prohibition for all these years. But cops shouldn’t be in charge of legalization, they should be facing criminal charges, especially now, as they continue to bust people for a harmless plant.

“The federal Liberal government has announced that they’re strengthening sanctions against Russians due to Russia’s apparent aggression toward Ukraine. “The RCMP has charged a former University of Waterloo student, alleging that he participated in a terrorist group.
Kevin Omar Mohamed, 23, is to appear in court and face the new charge, in addition to two weapon offences against him.
The RCMP believes Mohamed was going to leave Canada and participate in terrorism abroad. He was preoccupied with the Syrian conflict, but his social media posts reveal that he was entirely anti-ISIS, instead supporting an al-Qaida faction Syria…Meanwhile, a major city in Syria, Palmyra, has been freed from ISIS control by Russian air power and Syrian soldiers. Of course, you won’t hear any of this good news in the West, and if you do, it’ll be spun to fit the narrative that Russia is acting illegally and Bashar Assad is a ruthless dictator.”

In what is turning out to be one of the largest hacks in history, with more information coming out than Wikileaks Cablegate, Offshore Leaks, Lux Leaks and Swiss Leaks combined, the Panama Papers raises more questions than it answers. It started when the Mossack Fonseca, a Panama-based law firm, was hacked by an anonymous source, who sent the information to the German newspaper, Süddeutsche Zeitung, one of the largest in the German nation and the first to get approval by the United States immediately after world war 2 when freedom of speech in Germany was curtailed…Whether or not it was the act of an intelligence agency, now that the information is out there, how will the corporate-state media spin it?
