According to David Suzuki, who once sat on the board of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, one of Canada’s largest free speech advocacy groups, jailing people for different political views regarding climate change is crucial. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone Australia, Suzuki said, “I really believe that people like the former prime minister of Canada should be thrown in jail for willful blindness.”

The global March Against Monsanto took place today in over 500 cities world wide where people gathered together to voice their concerns over GMO’s and Monsanto. In Vancouver BC the crowd turnout was low however in this video the young and always entertaining youth activist Daniel Bissonnette along with PFT’s Dan Dicks gave their talks live on line in an effort to carry the message far and wide!

The email identifies French President Nicholas Sarkozy as the brainchild behind the attack on Libya, focusing on getting Libyan oil, ensuring French influence in the region, which would help his domestic approval rating, and then, of course, the “huge threat” that Gaddafi’s gold and silver reserves posed to the stability of the fiat-Euro currency.

Felipe Montoya is an upstanding citizen, someone who pays his taxes and obeys the law, works as a professor at Toronto’s York University… yet, he and his family are at risk of deportation because, well, his 13-year-old sold has Down Syndrome.
Citizenship and Immigration Canada has old Montoya that his son’s condition makes him inadmissible to Canada because of the tax-burden his son would place on Canada’s health care system. Yet, this is the same government that welcomes refugees with open arms.
Because of the way Canada’s immigration laws work, when a family applies for residency but finds even one member ineligible, the whole family suffers as a result. Because Montoya’s son, Nicolas, has Down Syndrome, the whole family is at risk of being deported.
