The several dozen "advisors" will join the over 100 Canadian armed forces personal who are already in Iraq for Operation Impact. The main goal of the operation had been airlifting arms and supplies to the Iraqi government, that had been donated by NATO countries.
The Canadian government has provided this list as the mission context:
- In June 2014, the Islamic State militant group known as ISIL captured Iraq’s city of Mosul. The religious extremists offered all non-Muslims an ultimatum to convert to Islam, pay a religious fine, leave the city or be executed. Since then, ISIL has expanded its territorial control in Iraq.

Canada also announced the allocation of the remainder of its assistance package, $2.75 million, to four humanitarian partners. The Canadian government has been "ramping up" it's military presence around the globe and has even begun a media battle with Russia.
Here is a graphic from ottawacitizen.com that shows current military operations around the world.
As the Canadian government is expanding it's presence in Iraq under transport and advisor roles. Spending millions upon millions of our tax dollars on these operations. Here is the information that they are not sharing with the Canadian people.
As time goes by, more and more information is revealing that ISIS has received help from western nations.
Globalresearch.ca is reporting: ISIS Leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi Trained by Israeli Mossad, NSA Documents Reveal.
"The former employee at US National Security Agency (NSA), Edward Snowden, has revealed that the British and American intelligence and the Mossad worked together to create the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Snowden said intelligence services of three countries created a terrorist organisation that is able to attract all extremists of the world to one place, using a strategy called “the hornet’s nest”.
American General McInerney has also stated that the U.S. helped build ISIS while on a fox news appearance.
To put it in simple terms. The Canadian government is sending our service men and woman into a conflict, and spending millions of tax dollars take part in a NATO mission to fight a group that was created by NATO intelligence agencies.
